Program Overview: Remuneration: Paid and Unpaid (pending eligibility criteria) Location: Australia wide Duration: 6 – 26 weeks Lead time: 3 months (Working Holiday Visa) 4 months (416 Special Program Visa) Eligibility criteria: Aged 18-30 Apply for an internship directly related to your studies Be currently enrolled in a tertiary course, or a recent graduate (within 24 months of graduation) Upper intermediate – advanced English language skills Sample tasks and skill development: - Assist with policies and procedures - Assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of HR team - Data Entry - Dealing with employee relations (birthday cards, service anniversary stays, ambassador meetings, employee opinion surveys, Accor initiatives, SSW newsletters, reward and recognition programs, general HR enquiries) - Dealing with training & development, benefits, compensation - Employee learning and development (welcome day, analysis of training, feedback analysis) - General HR strategy & planning - HR admin tasks (sign ups, file management, visa checks, key control, statement of employment) - Involved in OH&S (Occupational Health & Safety committee), injury management, development and resourcing meetings, advertising platforms - Project and campaign management - Understanding organisational development - Using HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software Skill requirement: - Enthusiasm and confidence - Excellent English language skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - General understanding of HR practises - Good presentation skills - Good with Microsoft Office - Great personality - Highly organised - Honesty and Integrity - Internet and Outlook email systems - Knowledge of database management software - Knowledge of implementation of HR services, policies and programs - PC & Mac skills - Service orientated and shows lots of initiative - Sound attention to detail Type of Organisations: - Airlines - Business Consultants - Conference Centres - Fashion Label & Designers - FMCG - International Conservation Organisation - International Engineering Firms - International Manufacturing & Engineering Organisations - International Trade Firms - Leading International Hotel Chains - Marketing Specialists and Publishing House - Museums - Radio Stations - World leaders in Environmental Services
