Fabulous Nanny job in Antwerp, Belgium (GW910)

A family living in Antwerp, Belgium, is seeking a live-in Nanny to help care for their 4 year old twins, one boy and one girl. The working hours shall be 24 hours per day Wednesday to Sunday. The children go to school Monday - Friday (Wednesday however is just until 11:30am), so the Nanny will have some free time during the week after running a few small errands such as grocery shopping for the kids. General duties for this position include getting the children ready in the mornings, dressing, washing, bathing, and preparing healthy breakfasts, snacks and lunch boxes. The Nanny will also be responsible for keeping the children's playroom clean and tidy, preparing fun activities for them, supervising their play and ensuring their safety at all times. Other aspects of the role include managing their behaviour, enforcing discipline and ensuring the children use good manners. There is a housekeeper employed, so the role encompasses standard nursery duties only (no laundry or ironing). The ideal candidate will have a high level of education and will be experienced caring for similarly aged children. A driver is required for school runs, and a swimmer is also essential. The family is seeking applicants who have a genuine love of working with children. The accommodation is within the family home and is a large private bedroom with own bathroom on the same floor as the children. The successful candidate will also have use of a car whilst both on and off duty. The family also have an apartment at the Belgian coast, and the Nanny will have their own private bedroom and bathroom there too. Holidays are 4 separate paid weeks per year, with also a few days off during the Christmas period, usually 5 days. The Nanny will be required to work on New Years Eve as the family usually travel and holiday at this time. There will be several other opportunities to travel with the family throughout the year also. The salary offered is between £650 - £800 net per week depending on qualifications and experience.
