We have two positions available in a small Government Primary and lower secondary school, in a quiet town 140km from Chiang Mai City. Teaching and school details: The students you'll be teaching range from 6 - 14 years old, with classes of less than 30 students per class. The teachers will mainly be teaching English conversational skills, using the curriculum and textbooks provided. The classes are fun, interactive and you are welcome to use games and activities. The teaching hours are under 24 contact hours, and the school hours are from 8am - 4pm. Any time that you have outside of the classroom, can be spent planning lessons, marking assessments and relaxing with the friendly teachers at the school. Location: The school is located in a small town, about 140km from Chiang Mai city. There are regular buses to the city, making it an ideal location for weekend trips. The community you'll be living in are very friendly and welcoming to the English teachers. The town has a couple convenience stores, markets and restaurants. There are temples, a national park and hot springs that are nearby that you can explore during your time off.
