Hostelling International Toronto Volunteer

Hostelling International (HI) of the St-Lawrence Region is a non for profit organisation whose mission is to help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of other people, places and cultures through hostelling. With over 4000 locations around the world and a growing family of hostellers HI has gained the trust of many visitors, volunteers and employees around the world. HI Toronto is now looking for new volunteers for the summer season 2015. Volunteering for HI gives you an opportunity to meet different people from all around the world, to make new friendships and have travel experiences in your home town. HI volunteers are helping with the tours and activities that the hostel offers but also have a chance of creating their own tour if the idea is consistent with HI work and vision. To be able to provide our guests with the right information about the hostel and its activities, we take all our volunteers on a tour of our facilities as well as an introduction session on Hostelling International and HI Toronto. This orientation will give you an idea of what our hostel and our brand offers to our guests. We will also have you join in our other activities, to meet other volunteers and see firsthand how the other tours are conducted.
