Position:
Intern OR entry-level staff member (BA or BS required)
Work location: Walking distance to Liufang Station (Line 13), Beijing
Intern Hours: 3-4 days per week, 10:30 – 6:30; overtime may occasionally be required, including working from home
Full-time Hours: 10:30 – 6:30; overtime may occasionally be required, including working from home.
Position requirements:
- Outstanding English (written and spoken) is mandatory
- Active social media user (including Weibo and Douyin preferred)
- Overseas education or overseas internship experience+
- Candidates who ski or snowboard will be given priority
Non-disqualifiers/NB:
- Position is open to applicants of any major/academic discipline
- Intern candidates may be of any nationality, but must possess native or near-native written Chinese
- Accommodations will be made for exam days
Scope of work:
Interns will have the chance to learn about multiple aspects of the business, including public relations and media relations, corporate strategic communications, social media marketing and digital marketing and events marketing. Interns will be exposed to a broad range of industries and will be challenged to rapidly familiarize themselves with terminology and industry trends. Interns may transition to full-time staff after satisfactory completion of their internship. Exceptionally qualified applicants may be considered for full-time positions.
Specific tasks include:
- Public relations and social media copywriting
- Basic graphic design, photo retouching and GIF creation (training provided)
- Supporting proposal development, including desktop research
- Summarizing industry key trends
- Chinese-English Translation
- Administrative tasks related to financial management
- Eventon-site support (limited weekends and evenings; full day qualifies as extra paid day for interns)
