Online English Tutor

Position overview: Wall Street English are one of the most reputable English language schools in China. Their operations have recently expanded to include the delivery of online tutoring. English tutors deliver lessons to working professionals (typically age 25-40) across China via skype, from the comfort of WSE’s centrally based offices in either Shanghai or Beijing. Wall Street English offer excellent career progression opportunities, and relocation opportunities. Job Responsibilities: 1. Conduct online lessons according to the WSE methodology. 2. Prepare and teach classes online as scheduled. 3. Give feedback to students 4. Help students reach the level of English established in their learning objective. 5. Provide advice and assistance to students in the classroom. 6. Be flexible to teach or support in multiple centers within the same city. 7. Promote and preserve a pleasant and courteous atmosphere in the Centre and Online. The successful candidates will be expected to work some evenings and weekends, and will have two consecutive days off each week. Teachers work for 35 hours a week, typically delivering 25 hours of teaching with 10 office hours. Requirements: Applications are welcomed from graduates from any degree subject background. Note that if a teacher has recently graduated, and has less than 2 years of teaching experience post graduation, a CELTA (or 120 hour in class TEFL/ TESOL) certification is required. This can be completed subsequent to application. Teachers with 2 years of post graduation teaching experience will be required to hold a 120 hour online TEFL/ TESOL.
