Teach secondary students in Amnat Chareon Thailand

Echo English is currently recruiting English teachers for schools outside of the capital of Amnat Chareon. The school is located in a small town,north east of thailand. At the school you will be teaching secondary students and will be placed with two other native English speakers. If successful you will be teaching students between the age of 12 - 17 years old. There are two other teachers you’ll be working with, alongside our native Thai teachers who are very friendly and accommodating. You’ll be welcomed into the community and treated as family and will be invited to different events including weddings, family events and different festivals throughout the term.

Teaching:

The school day begins at 7.45am, Monday to Friday and the role will be 24 teaching hours a week. The average is about 20 hours per week, leaving you time to plan your lessons, mark assessments and relax. The school doesn’t have a curriculum in place, which leaves flexibility for creativity in planning your lessons, whilst ensuring lessons are engaging and interactive.

Accommodation:

There are apartments near the school, where you will be placed with other teachers. The rent for accommodation is 4,000 THB month, the equivilant to £93 and location close to restaurants and a local market.

Contract length:

The position begins immediately and continues until the end of the term (end of February / early March 2017), and there is the option to renew for the next term beginning mid May 2017 through until end of September 2017.
