Paid Hospitality Placements in the UK!

Description Are you interested in travelling to the UK to improve your English and gain paid work experience in the hospitality sector? Then Twin Work & Volunteer’s Hospitality Training Programme is the ideal placement for you. We work with over 500 hospitality businesses across the UK, so there are a variety of positions available in great locations for you to choose from. You will be employed by a pub, hotel, bar, restaurant or B&B, and your placement will last between 6 months and 1 year. Your position in the hospitality sector will depend on your experience, and we will match you to a job which suits your needs and level of English. If you have had no experience in the hospitality industry, then positions can include, Waiting Staff, Bar Staff, Housekeeper, Kitchen Porter, General Assistant or Back of House. If you have a good level of English and have had some experience in the hospitality industry then positions can include, Receptionist or Chef. Even if you have had no experience in hospitality whatsoever, then this placement will be a great starting point for your career. Throughout your placement you will also have access to our online learning platform, where you will be able to improve your English language skills with exercises and lessons. By the end of this experience your level of English will surely increase as you practise the language every day in your job and access teaching materials. Salary All candidates on our Hospitality Training Programme will be paid UK minimum wage (at least £5.13 per hour if you are aged 18 to 20, or £6.50 per hour if you are 21 and over). Locations We only offer placements for this programme in rural areas of the UK. This will give you the chance the experience the British culture in beautiful and relaxed locations, which are often very popular with tourists. Your placement might be based in Cornwall, Devon, the Lake District, the Scottish Highlands, coastal Wales or the Shetland Islands. Requirements - Aged between ages 18 and 30 years old - EU National or holder of appropriate visas only - Some vacancies may also require specific qualifications by the hospitality business What’s included with this placement? You will need to pay £495 to come on this programme, however this will cover: - Your paid work placement for 6 months to 1 year - Live-in accommodation - Access to online English tuition from time of booking until 3 months after your placement has ended - Letter of reference from your employer (on completion of your placement)
