(Paid) Intern: Product and Support – Exciting Technology Start-Up

Are you a bright student or graduate looking to gain experience of working with a new technology business with an exciting software proposition? Are you excited by start-ups and the possibility of creating and developing new products online? WorkGaps is a fast-growing technology start-up that is revolutionising the way companies and people link up to get work done. We are growing fast, and are looking for a number of interns to join us this summer, with the possibility of a permanent job if things go well. We don’t just want an ordinary intern, we want someone who can make a difference and to reflect this, it will be a paid internship. And because we believe in Being Good, we will be paying the Outside London Living Wage, or in practical terms £7.85 an hour. We’re looking for 30 hours per week, either over 4 or 5 days so you will be earning £1k per month. If you feel that you could be the person we are looking for, then read on!

Things you’ll be doing include:

· Interacting with and helping our users, which may include businesses or individuals · Applying your brainpower to help solve or improve technical and user experience challenges · Helping shape the software and service we supply to all of our customers · Helping us test and improve how the software works · Improving product documentation · Contributing to the product roadmap · If you can think of anything else you’d like to be involved in, we’d be delighted to hear it · We may think of new things too, so don’t take this list as the finalised version! We’re looking for someone with a good work ethic, plenty of enthusiasm, a desire to get it right for the customer, and a personality that will fit with the existing team. Some technical ability and good communication skills would be a big plus. If you join us, you’ll gain invaluable experience of working at a fast-moving technology start-up with an exceptional team. You’ll learn about our software and the story behind it, including how we plan to Be Good by offering our services to UK registered charities at no cost. And you’ll be working closely with a management team with years of blue chip corporate experience that you can benefit from in the long run. We’ll assist you as much as we can to make this a successful internship for you. The office is an informal environment and there is the flexibility to work from home or remotely for at least 1 day per week if required. We work hard, but enjoy our work too. If this sounds like your idea of fun, get in touch today with a CV and a cover letter telling us why you would be a good fit.
